Transport & Logistics

The transport and logistics sector consists of companies involved in transporting and storing goods. The transport of people by land, water and air is also part of this sector. Getting the right quantity of the right product, in the right condition, in the right place, at the right time, to the right customer, at the right price. That’s what this sector does on a daily basis.

Within this sector, three types of companies are strongly represented in the region: 

• Innovative tech logistics companies, including start-ups and scale-ups

• Traditional logistics companies that focus on innovation, digitalization and sustainable initiatives 

• Companies in agri & food, chemicals, life science & health and other industries, focused on establishing logistics and supply chain operations targetting the Netherlands and Western Europe. 

The transport and logistics sector is also committed to sustainability and continues to innovate to minimise its carbon footprint.
