Port operations coordinator
As a port operations coordinator, you will work and learn for four days at a bulk, container handling, RoRo, or breakbulk company in the port, and spend one day studying theory at school. During your training, you will learn about terminal processes and the associated administrative tasks. To communicate effectively with everyone involved in loading and unloading ships, you will receive lessons in English and German. You will also take courses in the following subjects: Safety, Leadership, Terminal Planning and Organization, Ship Knowledge, Business Economics, Hazardous Materials, Dutch, Mathematics, and Career and Citizenship.
